What we collect

Analytics cookies

If — and only if — you press Accept, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, approximate location, device and browser details, and which pages you visited. We use it to learn which scares work and which ones people abandon. Google is a separate controller of that data and processes it under its own terms.

Until you accept, no Google script is loaded at all. Not a stub, not a “cookieless ping”. Refusing means the request is never made, and nothing about the site changes.

Events we record

With consent, we log that a scare completed, that a scare was aborted, that the intensity dial moved, and that someone pressed Enough. Each carries the intensity level and nothing else. They describe the scare, never the person being scared.

Your settings

Sound, scares, intensity, your incident numbers and this consent decision live in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers, and clearing your browser data erases them completely. The Management will not remember you, and considers that mutual.

Email addresses

If you join the waitlist, we store the address and the page you submitted it from. It is used once, to tell you the door has opened. It is never sold, shared, or used for anything else. Ask and it is deleted, without an argument.

What we never do

We do not request your camera or microphone. We do not record your reaction. We do not store IP addresses ourselves. We do not run advertising or sell anything to anyone. Whatever noise you made, nobody has it.
